Since its inception, Iftiin carried out a number of rehabilitation programs in education, water and sanitation and food security sectors in collaboration with other international organizations and Somali community. Iftiin started its initial activities in supporting and construction of many primary and secondary schools in Somalia where 3500 students and 1000 evening class adults are studying now.

Iftiin is committed to Put Every Somali Child in School especially those children for whom education is not currently available because of the post-conflict which caused millions of children out of school and girls highlighted as at the greatest disadvantage.
Iftiin does not only teach but also advocates and brings all stakeholders together as Education can lift people out of poverty especially in low-income countries if they acquire basic reading skills, millions of people could be lifted out of poverty which will contribute big cut in world poverty.
Iftiin Also Committed to fighting for girls right to access free education to close the gender gap at all education levels. Evidence suggests that girls who complete primary and go on to have a secondary education have improved health outcomes and earn significantly higher wages.
