The institute will improve the opportunities and lifestyles of the community through the provision of education and vocational training to develop their self-esteem which will enable them to break out of the backwardness and poverty trap.

The project activities consisted of the construction of 10 classrooms, 3 labs, one meeting Hall, one overhead water tank, 4 administration office rooms, 5 toilets, one library room and outdoor wall encircled throughout the building. The institute will host four departments or specialization namely business administration, nurses, rural development and education.

The establishment of this institute reflects from the outcome of long consultation made with the local authorities, school parents, traditional leaders and youths. Due to the increasing number of graduated students from the secondary schools and shortage of qualified teachers for the secondary schools, it is essential to establish higher study center for the recently graduated students from the secondary schools.
